Submissions

• Book Reviews: Concise reviews of fiction, non-fiction, or poetry. Ideal length: 300-500 words.
• Essays/Opinion Pieces: Thoughtful pieces on trends in reading, book culture, or related topics. Ideal length: 600-800 words.
• Creative Writing (Short Stories, Poetry): We accept short stories or poetry that can fit on one magazine page. Ideal length: up to 400 words for short stories or 1 poem per submission.

• Submit all files in Word (.docx) or Google Docs format.
• Use 12pt Times New Roman font, with single-spacing.
• Include a brief bio (50-100 words) with your submission, including any relevant social media links or personal websites.
• Ensure your submission is proofread and polished before sending, as submissions with significant errors may not be considered.
• Any relevant images should also be sent

We accept rolling submissions, but deadlines for specific issues will be posted on our website and social media.

We aim to respond to submissions within one week. If you haven’t heard from us by then, please don’t hesitate to follow up via the contact form — we’d love to hear from you.

By submitting to Book World Magazine, you agree to grant us first serial rights, meaning we have the right to publish your work first. After publication, all rights revert to you, and you are free to republish the work elsewhere. We kindly request that you credit Book World Magazine as the original publisher if the work is republished.

Please note, we reserve the right to edit your submission for clarity, style, length, or content before publishing. We aim to preserve the integrity of your work, but these edits may be necessary to ensure it aligns with our magazine’s format and voice.

Additionally, by submitting, you confirm that the work is your own original creation and that it has not been previously published, unless otherwise agreed upon with our editorial team. We also request that you notify us if your submission is accepted by another publication before we have confirmed it for our magazine.

Currently, we do not offer payment for submissions. However, you will receive full credit and promotion on our platform and social media. We are also open to collaborating on promotional opportunities.
