What’s Included?

Accommodation:
Two nights’ accommodation in a 4.5-star resort. Choose from Twin Share or Single Room options for ultimate comfort.

Dining:

• A special Onyx Storm Dinner on Friday night, where guests are encouraged to dress in their finest little black dress (LBD) or other chic black attire. This themed 2 course dinner will be held at the Fireplace restaurant.
• Daily buffet breakfasts to start each morning with delicious options and plenty of coffee.
• A group dinner at George’s Paragon restaurant on Saturday night, where guests can enjoy a relaxed evening together. (Please note that this dinner will be at your own cost.)

Cocktail Afternoon:
Raise a glass during a Cocktail Afternoon, where you can unwind, connect, and toast to your shared love of books and community.

Gift Bags:
Each guest will receive a thoughtfully designed gift bag filled with goodies inspired by Fourth Wing and designed to make your retreat extra special.

Resort Facilities:

Is there a payment plan available?

Yes, we offer flexible payment options. You can:

• Pay half now and the remaining half due on 1st January 2025
• Or, enjoy a discount for upfront payments.

What is the cancellation and transfer policy?

The retreat is non-refundable; however, it is transferable. If you can no longer attend, you are welcome to transfer your booking to another person.

This policy is in place because we’ve negotiated a special discounted rate with the venue based on a minimum number of rooms. Once booked, we are committed to paying for your reservation, even if you cancel. We appreciate your understanding and are happy to assist with transferring your booking if needed.

What type of accommodation is available?

Accommodation is at the luxurious 4.5-star Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove Resort. You can choose between twin-share and single room options.

Twin-share rooms have 2 Double Beds in each room.

Are meals included?

Yes, the retreat includes:

• a two-course dinner on Friday night at The Fireplace Restaurant (dress in black)
• daily buffet breakfasts,
• Cocktail and Cheese afternoon tea by the pool,
• Other meals are at your own expense, such as the optional Saturday dinner at Georges Paragon.

Will there be organized activities?

This retreat is designed to be stress-free and flexible. There are no scheduled activities beyond those that we have arranged during meal times, and the Cocktail afternoon so you can enjoy uninterrupted reading, relaxation, and connecting with others.

What should I bring to the retreat?

Pack your favorite book(s), comfortable clothing, swimmers and any personal items you need for a relaxing weekend.

Do I need to read the Fourth Wing series before attending?

While it’s not mandatory, fans of the series will enjoy the themed atmosphere and discussions.

Is there Wi-Fi at the resort?

Yes, the Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove Resort offers complimentary Wi-Fi for all guests.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely! Many attendees come alone and leave with new friends who share their love of books.

Is transportation included?

Transportation to and from the retreat is not included. Sanctuary Cove is easily accessible by car or public transport and only 30 minutes from Gold Coast Airport or 1 hour from Brisbane Airport.
